BLUE HILLS SCHOOLS
Honour & Pride

PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Dear Parents,

It is with great humility and excitement that I introduce myself as the Principal of Blue Hills College. I feel greatly honoured to be given an opportunity to lead this great institution, which has a rich history of academics, sports, parent involvement and spiritual enrichment.
As I take over the management of this institution, I wish for a cordial relationship between parents and the school. Our aim is to achieve good behaviour and good results from all our learners. Blue Hills College is guided by five values, which are:
-
Integrity
-
Discipline
-
Diligence
-
Respect
-
Courage
It is our belief that these five values will help us build an academically, socially, physically and spiritually healthy learner.
At Blue Hills College we expect our learners to score 50% and above in all subjects. Our dedicated educators are ready to assist all our learners in achieving this goal, through the modern technological methods of teaching. Our learners are also expected to participate in sporting activities, with a variety of different sports to choose from for both girls and boys.
This year we will continue to reinforce positive behaviour and discourage any breach of the school code of conduct. Learners doing well in academics, sports and in behaviour will be rewarded through a merit system, where they will earn points. Those doing the opposite as expected in learner conduct will be demerited.
Nelson Mandela once said, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”
We hope to change the world by building a respectful, dedicated, disciplined and courageous learner. This we will achieve with your support and cooperation. Our values: INTEGRITY, DISCIPLINE, DILIGENCE, RESPECT and COURAGE are key in our guidance.
Your cooperation will be greatly appreciated.
Yours Sincerely,
Bekithemba Ndlovu
